The Ultimate Unplanned Project: Welcome to the World (Early)

The Schedule Just Changed.
If you’ve been following along, you know I was in the middle of "Operation Excavation," trying to dig my workshop out from under the clutter.
Well, the universe looked at my carefully planned schedule and said, "Hold my beer."
On January 20th, at exactly 32 weeks, our newest child decided they didn't want to wait any longer to join the chaos, or more specifically, my wife's body was DONE and the doctors decided the advantages of waiting were being outweighed by the potential for long term issues.
The "Full Boar" Arrival
We talk a lot here about "Engineered Chaos." Usually, that refers to failed 3D prints, server crashes, "measure once cut twice", or the general noise of raising a large family.
But this? This is the real deal.
Mom and baby are doing very well! It has been a little over 3 weeks since we welcomed him into the world. The baby is currently in the NICU, is out of the incubator and in a bassinet. He starting to eat normally, and we are hoping he will be able to come home in a week or so!
One thing that my work experience has taught me is to adapt to the mission. Right now, I'm trying to wrap up a few projects, get everything out of the attic and cleaned up, and generally preparing for him to come home.
What This Means for the Shop
Pretty much business as usual. Having 6 kids taught me that you will never actually have dedicated time to do anything unless you sacrifice somewhere else or just learn and get really good at multitasking. As I write this right now, one of my two-year-olds is going through my desk drawer and pulling everything out and saying "here you go dad" while handing me each object. Needless to say, I'll have some drawer organization to do later. For me, the sacrifice is usually sleep. If I want to have "me time" I just stay up a little later, then typically suffer the consequences during the day. Sometimes followed by a nap during quiet time.
So to everyone following along: Thank you! We will continue to answer questions, send out orders (that's the beauty of print on demand!) and continue to try to provide the best experience possible.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions!
PS. There will be a new shirt (and possibly other items!) design coming in the next couple of days. I'm starting a new category,
